Skyrim Console Commands (only cheats you need)

Skyrim has a variety of console commands which add a lot of functionality to the game. The console command is nothing but a debugging tool available for PC players. The way to add the console commands in Skyrim is through using the tilde key (` or ~) in the keyboard. This key is available in the top-left corner of the keyboard.

Skyrim Console Commands working on the world

  1. tws – Turn off water (when not underwater)
  2. tfc – Free camera mode (1 to pause the game)
  3. tm – This command turns all GUI Displays off
  4. sucsm # – Replace # to change the speed of the free camera i.e. 0.5 for half speed or 2 for double speed
  5. fw WeatherID – Replace WeatherID with the type of weather you want to activate. Full list of WeatherIDs is here
  6. tfow – Remove fog from the world map
  7. sw WeatherID – Replace WeatherID with the type of weather you want to activate
  8. tt – Turn off trees
  9. ts – Turn off skybox and fog
  10. set timescale to # – Replace # to set the rate time passes at, 1 is realtime and 20 is default
  11. tg – Turn off grass
  12. sgtm # – Replace # to set the game speed i.e. 0.5 for half speed or 2 for double speed
  13. tmm # – Toggle map markers (# – 0 to disable and 1 to enable)

  1. addshout ShoutID – Replace ShoutID with the shout you want to add. A list of ShoutIDs is here
  2. player.resethealth – Immediately refills your health
  3. player.setlevel # – Replace # with the level to set your player to
  4. player.additem ItemID # – Replace ItemID with the item you want to add to your inventory, and # with the amount of that item to add. A list of ItemIDs is here
  5. psb – Learn every magic spell
  6. unlock – Point at a door or chest then use this code to unlock it
  7. tim – Immortal mode: Similar to God mode, you can take damage but can’t be killed
  8. showracemenu – Access the character creator to change appearance (this will reset your level and skill progress)
  9. advskill SkillID # – Replace SkillID with the skill you’re modifying and # with the amount you are modifying it by. A list of SkillIDs is here
  10. tgm – God mode: Full invincibility, infinite stamina and magicka
  11. player.advlevel – Increase player level by one, though you won’t get a perk point
  12. player.setscale # – Replace # with the height for your character, between 0.1 and 10
  13. player.addperk PerkID – Replace PerkID with the perk you want to add. A list of PerkIDs is here
  14. tcl – No-clip mode: Walk through walls, fly

Skyrim Console Commands for Quest

  1. movetoqt QuestID – Move to the target of the entered QuestID
  2. saq – Starts all quests (may destabilize the system)
  3. showquesttargets – Displays the QuestID for all the current quests
  4. sqt – Shows all targets for ongoing quests
  5. sqo – Shows all objectives for ongoing quests
  6. player.sqs QuestID – Shows all stages for the entered QuestID
  7. caqs – Completes all primary quest stages (may cause crashes)
  8. resetquest QuestID – Resets quest with the entered QuestID
  9. completequest QuestID – Completes quest with the entered QuestID

  1. killall – Kills all non-essential NPCs in the area
  2. tcai – Turns off combat AI for NPCs
  3. resurrect – Bring a dead targeted NPC back to life, add 1 to keep their current items intact
  4. tai – Turns off non-combat AI for NPCs
  5. player.placeatme NPCID – Places the stated NPC next to you. You can find NPCID here.
  6. tdetect – Turn off AI detection while stealing, doesn’t work for pickpocketing
  7. tc – Allows you to take control of the targeted NPC
  8. sexchange – Target NPC Gender Change (or yours if no targeting)
  9. kill – Kill the targeted NPC
